This is our 1st post so not sure exactly how I should start but this project (Extreme Routes) and blog, is part of life-time dream that it's becoming closer to be achieved. It's about Motorcycle tours, long rides, short rides, bikes, gear etc. And of course my plans to start publishing my own trips in Africa and Middle East, where I am living now, from friends and anyone that have a nice story about this topic.
For 2012 I am planning a trip from Rio de Janeiro to Santiago and back with my friend Marcus. Around 25 days ... maybe more, maybe less. Meanwhile, I have also plans to do short trips in Chile (2011), in the UAE (maybe going to Oman as soon as we move from South Africa and I get my license in Dubai :)) and also back in South Africa which is one of the most beautiful countries and riding-friendly.

The baby in the picture is my Honda Deauville (NT700) that I will have to sell in South Africa. Unfortunately is very complicated to take it with to Dubai. This is one of the best bikes I've ever rode. It's road and traffic friendly and extremely confortable. Maybe in Dubai I get another Elefant (Harley as it's nice to have one there) or my dream bike R1200GS Fully equipped. Let's see... :)
